I have been busy cleaning and checking
bits out. Next stage will be to strip and prepare the painted bits and sort out
the Chroming, vapour blasting and zincing, all good stuff. One thing is for
certain, you have to be organized as you can end up with bits all over the
place, but i have to say it is all good fun and very satisfying though some of
the jobs can be quite tedious at times. I now have a couple of storage boxes
full of restored parts packed away ready for the rebuild (whenever that will be)
but each part cleaned and packed away is one less part to do and buy.
No major dramas at the moment but lots of rust pitting and grime to get rid of.
